Is rap poetry or music?

about. I'd say artists like Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane are precisely 0%
poetry, while Immortal Technique usually has the "worst" beats. Rap is
considered music because, while some rap music is hard to perform,
most of it, until now, has been made up of music. <br>

how the person interprets it. I feel that it is both music and poetry.
