What style of pizza do you like best?

answers1: Thin crust (or at least not doughy). <br>
<br>
BA: cheese, basil, or CRISP pepperoni (not greasy and limp)
answers2: I like a crispy New York style, but only if you eat it at
the pizzaria. If you try to take it out, it's generally too soggy by
the time you get home. <br>
<br>
For the most part, I like it with just sauce and cheese, but sometimes
I'll add Italian sausage or some onion or mushrooms. <br>
<br>
I don't really like most of the delivery pizza brands, like Pizza Hut,
Domino's or Papa John. We have a couple of very good local pizzarias
around here, so that's where I go. If it has to be a national chain,
the I think Bertucci's is the best (they have very good sausage....)
<br>
<br>
When it comes to frozen pizza, my favorite brand is Mystic Pizza. I'm
not sure if you can get that outside of New England, because it's a
local company. But it's way better than a lot of those big name
brands like DiGiorno.
answers3: I like thick crust from Pizza Hut the best.
answers4: I like St. Louis style pizza the best. <br>
<br>
BQ - Hamburger, onions, green/red peppers, mushrooms, black olives,
broccoli, & extra provolone cheese. My favorite brand of pizza is
Dierbergs (It's a grocery store but I LOVE their frozen pizza).
answers5: Pizza Hut and Little Caesers. XD
answers6: Indian-Style Pizza !
answers7: thin crust with extra sauce and cheese
answers8: Chicago style <br>
<br>
BA: mushrooms and extra cheese from Chicago's Pizza
answers9: Sicilian style. <br>
<br>
Never knew Detroit or St. Louis had a pizza style, it's probably
really bad. <br>
<br>
BQ: Sausage, i don't really have a brand per se but i have my places.
Usually small business serve better quality pizza than any large
corporation like Little Cesar's would

<br>
Accessories are bold or funky <br>
<br>
Clothes are preppy <br>
<br>
And I like to wear shoes like vans or converse <br>
<br>
I have a mix of a lot of styles! <br>
<br>
To me, no matter what you wear, you'll always be wearing something
that someone else wears. So don't try to copy others but don't be
like "I'm a non-conformist" or "I'm not a clone" because you're always
copying someone. So, just wear what you like! And if that's what
you're doing that's great!!!! <br>
<br>
Just a little of my opinion :)
answers7: all i can say is that i luv bright colors!!!!!! <br>
and yea i do concider myself preppy. i shop at: <br>
Abercrombie and Fitch <br>
hollister <br>
ruehl <br>
juicy <br>
vikki's secret PINK <br>
Gant <br>
j.crew <br>
hot topic(for accessories) <br>
spencers <br>
polo <br>
etc. <br>
<br>
im my own type of preppy so yea i shop at punky stores too.
answers8: casual, mod, sometimes a little dressy-fancy even. <br>
<br>
i like to carry tote bags, wear flats & i kind of want <br>
colored skinny jeans. i never wear any jewlery at <br>
all (not even stud earrings) and i have a fish charm <br>
on my school bag. <br>
<br>
& i guess i wear logo things sometimes. <br>
but not every day, though. just once in a while.
answers9: I am Vintage, i would assume. I love wearing dresses, and
long sweaters with tights, im not really in the "aberzombie" phase. I
think i have a unique style, and i dont have to worry about what
people think of me.
answers10: It irritates me when people say they like to dress 'goth'
or are 'goth' but then say they don't like to be a clone. Hello? Do
you think being 'goth' is original? I don't think so. <br>
<br>
Anyways, back to the original question. I dress in whatever I think
looks cute on me.

of how i feel on that day.
answers4: scene queen but less trashy and with a goth/punk princess edgy
answers5: My style reflects on who I am as a person and my personality
and mood. Some says you may be under the weather and want to be
invisible. So there go your black pants and grey sweatshirt. Some days
I am happy and wear prints and colors. Personally, I like patterns and
unique clothing. It really just depends in who you are and what you
like. Everybody is different and has their own style. Embrace it!
answers6: preppy punk
answers7: my style is a reflection of who i am and my personality. it
varies by the day. some days i wear black and other days i wear pink
and happy colors. some days flip-flops and other days heels. <br>

Do you believe there is beauty in everything?

answers1: I love your question., It shows that you have a great
outlook on life. I, too, would like to believe that there is beauty
in everything but I sadly say that no, there isn't beauty in
everything. But remember this.....There is beauty in you!
answers2: It's hard to find beauty in the sewer,unless you are a
lawyer,then you are at home where you belong.
answers3: it's a lovely thought, and i do try - but sometimes, when i
watch the news, i just can't see the beauty in what is happening
across the nation & in the world.
answers4: Almost <br>
<br>
I believe that there is beauty in most things. <br>
<br>
Other things...like the really bad things like the Holocaust and stuff
like that, I have yet to find beauty in. <br>
<br>
I am really enjoying your questions. <br>
They're just simple, one lined questions, yet, they all seem so
deep...and they really make you think. <br>
<br>
♥ xoxo
answers5: Yes,I can find beauty in anything and anyone... :) <br>
<br>
<br>
except snakes lol <br>
<br>
<br>
edited..well I agree with ziggyman to..
answers6: Yeah the beauty lies in the eyes of beholder!
answers7: Yes but sometimes we fail to see the beauty.
answers8: So you believe that when a mother beats her child to death
its beautiful? Life is not beautiful all the time. But sometimes it
is.
answers9: No. I've known some truly beautiful women (I'm 55), but
learned rather quickly that they were not someone I wanted to be with
the rest of my life or even be around. No thoughts in their head, self
centered, etc. On the other hand, there are the women who were
physically ugly, but they had the intelligence, personality, etc. that
made you glad just to have known them.
answers10: Definitely

What is beauty?Really?

answers1: Beauty is what we perceive, along with what we perceive to
be ugly. <br>
<br>
Just like foods, some like sweet, sour, hot, mild. <br>
<br>
One thing beautiful to me is being on the snowcapped, bitterly cold
mountain tops with the wind trying to blow me away. Watching the sun
go down through the clouds before vanishing and plunging it into icy
darkness. To others, that's a nightmare, to me, that's seeing the
beauty of nature, cruel or kind.
answers2: beauty is self-worth. It's what attracts us to other beings
and is immortal in ourselves. When you die, people will always
remember you as beautiful because you were a good person. <br>
You can also consider superficial beauty, but superficial beauty can't
last as long as inner beauty. To cling too much to it is kind of
pathetic really.
answers3: Beauty is one of the opulence's of The Supreme. He is the
source of all qualities. We are part and parcel of Him we also have
according to our karma different degrees of beauty, fame, wealth,
strength, wisdom, renunciation. <br>
The real beauty comes with the understanding that we are not this
temporary bodies who have temporary beauty, but we are the Spirit Soul
inside the body who is full of eternal bliss and beauty. In this world
beauty is just a reflection of the original beauty of the Spiritual
Universe. Just like the reflection of a beautiful tree in the water of
the lake, is beautiful too but is not real.
answers4: Unfortunately, beauty is what the most popular actress looks
like or the latest magazine tells us it is. To me beauty is many
things, physical beauty is one of them, but how a person acts, speaks,
and the things that person does either makes that person beautiful or
ugly. I have seen some very pretty girls or handsome men that once
they open their mouths and a spew of obscenties comes out, causes them
to become very unattractive. Then again, I have seen some people who
society has deemed to be unattractive become some of the most
beautiful people around by doing wonderful things for others, always
having a kind word, and always be willing to assist other and doing
selfless things.
answers5: Beauty is empathy and self worth. <br>
<br>
I believe it always exists in a person, but sometimes it gets hidden
by life's hardships.
answers6: Beauty is the word we give to things that bring us pleasure.
I have a friend whom I consider beautiful. Simply looking at her
evokes a pleasurable feeling. Beauty is the positive in everyone. If
some one has a beautiful personality they are generally well liked and
kind. <br>
<br>
Outer beauty is subject to interpretation and is influenced by pop
culture. Total beauty on earth is unachievable because of human
nature. What you consider beautiful, I may consider average. And
vice versa.
answers7: To begin, I'm just going to state that I'm talking about
one's physical appearance, but what I'm saying applies as well to
inner beauty. Everyone has different tastes. I'll be talking to
friends of mine and I will think someone is really attractive and they
will completely disagree. To someone, you could be the most gorgeous
person in the world, but to someone else, you could be hideous. Same
thing applies with "gaining and losing" beauty. When you change your
appearance, one person will think it's for the better and another will
see it as a change for the worse.
answers8: Inner beauty can't be lost. <br>
<br>
Physical beauty is a curse. <br>
<br>
It's like a beautiful rug we get to stand on for a while then it gets
jerked out from under us. <br>
<br>
Love and blessings Don
answers9: Beauty truly is "in the eyes of the beholder". Otherwise, a
good buddy and his wife would both be single today. <br>
<br>
And I consider them both "beautiful people" because of who they are,
not what they look like. <br>
<br>
(By the way, I hope they feel the same about me.)
answers10: BEAUTY: is a quality present in a thing or person that
gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether
arising from sensory manifestations (such as shape, color, sound,
etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (such as
personality). Beauty is also a quality of a person, object, place, or
idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, affirmation,
meaning, or goodness.
answers11: Beauty is whatever you want it to be. It's a judgement that
each of us makes. You decide that one thing is better than another
(for whatever reason) The better thing has beauty. The other thing is
ugly. If you never said anything was ugly, you couldn't have beauty.
You'd just have a thing sitting there and you be like "well there it
is." That would be that. The judgement has to be based on a
comparison. Really beauty is just you're prejudice.

Things that represent beauty and sadness?

answers1: Music can represent beauty and sadness, due to the nature of
emotional lyrics. The passing of a loved one, whether it's friend,
family member or lover, can be both beautiful (because of the love
surrounding your heart and the loved one) and sorrowful. The passing
of a season can be both beautiful and mournful, but it's bringing in
something new at the same time.
answers2: do you mean something that represents beauty and something
that represents sadness, or something that represents both <br>
<br>
if both a rose- the actual flower is beautiful, but the thorns could
show sadness. <br>
<br>
if two things then like you said nature, and what about urban life,
people are poor, there is pollution and it doesn't seem as nice as
nature.

What is your definition of beauty?

answers1: I think beauty is to do with personality as well as looks,
someone thats pleasant to look at as well as pleasant to be with.
answers2: I had to do this paper. <br>
I wrote about how beauty is litterally in the eye of the beholder. <br>
How you can find it anywhere, in emotion, family, your significant
other, nature, music.. ect...
answers3: elegance is holiness exuding. that is a attraction of the
face, even without a grin interior the lips and interior the eyes, yet
maximum of all the sturdy-natured innovations-set of a man or woman
expressed in kindness and compassion. that is an paintings that is
inborn, a organic one. it would want to correctly be expressed in
numerous varieties, from poems to theater, to music which nourishes
the soul via its mellow, peace-loving melody. that is likewise
expressed in visuals, like the nevertheless one, that is portray or
slides. yet per chance, maximum of all, because it includes God in
his/her heart, if someone, and interior the middle of the paintings,
that is its soul. elegance is at par with the suitable, the sturdy,
and the real. it is all i can say for the on the spot. elegance can be
contemporary in scents, like perfumes. that is likewise felt via
touches, extraordinarily if i might want to contact you with the
fingers of my soul...
answers4: Beauty is kindness and honesty.
answers5: Beauty will be when Kim kardashian dies
answers6: yes its what is the inside that counts most but literaly
beauty is what GOD is given you
answers7: in my personal opinion beauty is like look tell figure,
smiling face long hair sweet voice etc.
answers8: Beauty is everything appealing and attractive in a person.
answers9: Beauty <br>
-real. <br>
-Beauty is a thing seldom seen. It is held by all within the soul it
lies, waiting to come out to the surface, but it can only be found if
someone is sharing your soul with you. Beauty is suppressed by the
evils of the world. Only love can bring beauty out. Once seen, beauty
never hides again. Not even hatred can deny beauty of it's true
design. Beauty, although possessed by all by few and fewer yet will
ever see one of the most beautiful sights - the beauty held by you.
<br>
-The one thing that draws you towards her. The thing she cannot see
herself, without your help <br>
- beauty has several definitions, but mine is a bit more large-scale
than most: just look around you: babies forming in wombs, injuries
healing, lifeforms reproducing, brains working, bodies moving, etc.
all have been made to be recognized and glorified, but ultimately, to
point toward a Designer.
answers10: Confidence. When I see people who aren't afraid to be
themselves, i think they're beautiful. They are confident in their own
skin and they don't care what haters have to say.

Who removes your body parts when you die?

answers1: The vast majority of people die in non suspicious
circumstances and their bodies are buried/cremated without anything
being removed. <br>
It is only if it is necessary to establish the cause of death that an
autopsy is performed and organs should only be removed and not
replaced if the next of kin agrees. <br>
The only other reason is that if the person is an organ donor. Again
though next of kin would be made aware of this.
answers2: problematic situation browse from yahoo or google that could
actually help
answers3: sophisticated situation seek from bing and yahoo that will could help
answers4: My understanding is that the person who does the autopsy
removes your organs, then places them randomly back into the body
before stitching it up. The mortician is only responsible for
injecting the embalming fluid.
answers5: If you are not autopsied, all your body parts will remain
inside and will cremated/buried with the body.

answers2: the colour of your skin makes no difference to who you date?
errr, this is the 21st century, welcome to 2011...
answers3: Yea totally! In fact, interracial couples are becoming more
popular, and looked upon as "cute". Ha. No need to worry. Besides,
being so racially conscience isn't good. If you like someone, just go

Oily or Normal skin products?

answers1: i would try and find a product that is for normal skin, try
a some out and find the right one for you <br>
<br>
xx
answers2: I swear by proactiv!!! I have used it for about 5 yrs now
and I love it. But if I go even a week without it and try t use
something else I can tell right away. Another product that is good and
ive had pretty good results with i Merle Norman Luxiva clear
complexion gel cleanser but just the cleanser s 18.50. I also have
oily skin and products are really harsh on my skin as well.. good luck
answers3: Actually it could affect your skin. If you have normal skin
try to stick to normal skin product lines. Using products for oily
skin may cause your skin to dry out or overproduce oil to make up for
the oil that you are stripping from your skin. <br>

what effect does sun have on skin ?

answers1: A few days of intense exposure to sun led to accelerated
aging of the skin. From this aspect, the fair skin is at disadvantage.
Darker the skin, more resistive it is to the harsh effects of the sun.
But the dark skins are not immune to it. Melanin, a pigment found in
the skin, protects the skin against the sunrays. And dark skin
contains more of this pigment. <br>
<br>
Sunrays dehydrate the skin and make it dry rough and wrinkled, due to
this; pigmented spots and patches appear on the skin. This results in
the expansion of the blood vessels and hence the skin looks flushed
and red after sun-exposure and as a result, skin gradually tans. The
supporting fibres of the skin also get damaged and all this leds to
premature ageing.
answers2: Radiation from cosmic rays can damage cell structure and
cause cancers.

great for skin while still doing what you want it too.
answers3: my favorite brand is probably one of the cheapest brands

<br>
<br>
Guerlain , Shiseido, Chanel (for foundation), MAC (eye sahdow and eye
liners)(only because you can save money by buying on one eye shadow
instead of 4 of which you´ll likely use but 1 or 2). Smashbox(only
their face primer). Christian Dior Black Out mascara. Fav make up
product would be Lingerie De Peau Foundation by Guerlain (flawless
skin).
answers5: My favorite makeup product for my skin is probably Clinique. <br>
It's one of the better brands out there since they don't have any <br>
lead or icky chemicals like that in their products. Most cheap <br>
brands, such as elf and nyx, contain very cheap, low-quality <br>
ingredients. That's why I'd recommend a hypoallergenic or <br>
natural/organic makeup line (ex: Origins). <br>
As for favorites... there are too many! I just can't decide. <br>
However, I do love the overpriced Yves St. Laurent Highlighter Pen.

makeup on a tattoo .................?

answers1: Not with standard makeup. Look into products like
Dermablend. I've never used it but hear it's fairly good. There are
other similar things on the market. They say they're for scars and
blemishes but they work for tattoos. Some people also use stage
makeup. I don't think it ever has a completely perfect result, but
your usual concealer, foundation etc. won't even touch it.
answers2: you have to buy skin makeup. buying it from a noted website
might be better though. Seeing as they have to good shtuff.

Hair Moisturizer For Dry, Relaxed Hair?

answers1: I believe its called Perfect Ten . you can get it in most salons .
answers2: My girlfriend used to have a similar issue with her hair
being dry and various products she tried didn't work at all for her.
She ended up trying this Mira thing, though, she says it's been really
good and her hair does look fantastic. <br>
<br>

answers3
: HI!! You can use oils to moisturize your hair, but not
something too heavy like olive oil. You should go online and get a
product called Pro Natural's argan oil, that stuff is the best for dry
hair, it makes it really soft and strong and you won't get dry ends or
anything. It's way lighter than olive oil and it has more benefits for
your hair too. :)))))
answers4: You can use what can from a hair care line called Pro
Natural's which has shampoos, conditioner, hair masks, hair oils and
stuff that is sulfate, alcohol free so it's so gentle for your hair
and makes it really soft and shiny. It won't dry out your hair. Go for
it:):):))
answers5: conditioning treatments :)
answers6: Causes for dry hair: The sun is very damaging & drying, even
get sunburn, so does the hair. <br>
Washing in hot water, if it's bad for baby skin, so does the hair. <br>
Too many shampoos per week, 2x is enough. <br>
Alcohol products, hair sprays or gel containing alcohol, very drying. <br>
Chemicals, perming, hair dyeing, chlorine. <br>
Hair straightening tools or curling tools, even with hair protectant
sprays or lotions, does not protect hair 100%. <br>
Hair dryer, I use it but only for 5 mins per wash, per week, longer
than, too drying. <br>
<br>
Once you know WHY your hair needs to be moisturized, you can eliminate
them, and your hair will improve. <br>
<br>
Source(s): <br>
I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky,
shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously
damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80's & 90's. I've known people in
their 30's whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the
70's. I don't use conditioner nor oil for my hair.

of variables. These are: what plan you have, and where you go.
Teaching hospitals often have programs with waiting lists where you
can get the procedure done more cheaply, and there is usually a number
you can call in order to see what it is included in your plan. You
primary care healthcare provider will better be able to diagnose your

who carries your health insurance. In almost all instances, orthopedic
doctors require a referral from a primary care provider.

Emo Fashion Question!!!?

answers1: When Emo first started, it wasn't the load of trash people
have turned it into. <br>
Emo, when it first started out, was a genre of music. Not fashion.
answers2: All black.
answers3: It started out as music, "Emotional- shortened to Emo" <br>
With popularity, It has evolved and the fashion with it to alot of
black, and recently with alot of random brights thrown into it. spiky,
peicey hairstyles, usually black, sometimes bright colors or bright
accessories are added. Black skinny jeans, slip ons, studded and
colorful belts. Etcetra, Etcetra. <br>
However, its becoming more of a trend then it used to be, and now alot
of people just use the label Emo to get attention. It's kind of
annoying; Like, 'ohhh, i'm so emo, I slit my wrists and wear balckkkk'
but oh well. I'm not emo. The fashion is pretty cool i guess, though.
<br>
hope I helped. :] <br>
<br>
haha, go watch lars the emo kid on youtube. Makes fun af all those
people who say their emo just casue they think it's cool soo funny :]

humanities' view on deforestation?? 10 points!!?

answers1: Hello, <br>
The subject of deforestation and the effects that it has on the <br>
environment have been heavily debated for a long time; particularly
over the <br>
last few years. Governments and large lumber companies see large
profits in the <br>
mass deforestation of forests and state that their actions are having
few, if <br>
any, harmful effects on the environment. Most people disagree with this and <br>
think that the environmental effects are devastating and will become <br>
irreversibly disastrous in the very near future. Whether or not the pros <br>
outweigh the cons will be hotly debated for years to come but the fact
is that <br>
deforestation is harmful to the environment and leads to declining wildlife <br>
populations, drastic changes in climate and loss of soil. <br>
The loss of forests means the loss of habitats for many species. Current <br>
statistics show that as many as 100 species become extinct every day with a <br>
large portion being attributed to deforestation (Delfgaauw, 1996). "Edge <br>
effects" are the destruction or degradation of natural habitat that
occur on the <br>
fringes of fragmented forests. Read the complete essay here:
answers2: Terrible, it is leading to the destruction of the earth.

How are firearms connected to the humanities?

answers1: you need to narrow it down. Firearms have been in common use
in the west for 700 years, and even longer than that in the east. if
you narrow the focus of your paper you'll have a much easier time. a
few suggestions off the top of my head: firearms in popular culture,
such as in the wild west and later depictions of the wild west,
firearms as depicted in the first half of the 20th century, or
Firearms in revolutionary art and propaganda. or, choose a firearm and
then analyze its story and impact. there have been entire books
written on the Avtomat Kalashinikova, its development and its cultural
impact. You can't plausibly write a "short paper" that manages to
fairly encompass the total impact of firearms on human history.
answers2: Literature and the performing arts are part of humanities
study – there are any number of approaches you could take to involve
firearms in your work. <br>
<br>
You can also look at the construction and design of guns, compare a
Renaissance cannon or decorated Chinese cannon with a Holland and
Holland shotgun, discuss the necessity of "beautifying" a killing
machine.
answers3: The Chinese are generally considered to have invented gun
powder and firearms (guns). China invented gun powder in the 9th
century and guns in the 12th century..This culture spread throughout
the west, Humans have always been in conflict so World war one became
an arms race. (people racing to create the best arms to rule the next
man for ideological and economic purposes. <br>
<br>
Some say the best inventions are created out of necessity, and that
all wars do is evolve better ways of killing the next man, but wars
also cause the necessity from which inventions are created! <br>
Without humanity we would be no better than the mindless beasts we
feed from, which it has to be said is a fair description of so called
humanity sometimes.
answers4: In many cultures, gun is soon as a symbol of strength and power.
answers5: There is a plethura if info on the gun and its social
impact. Look up colt peace maker, iorn side cannon, french fouling
peice. Darringer, thompson, gatling, ma'duce, potato digger, luger,
assassins gun, henry repeater, kentucky long rifle, pennsylvania long
rifle, blunderbuss. <br>
<br>
I don't know where to start. You have to write a short paper or a book.

that concept reaches and breaches the signifance of the different

indoctrine the comparable concept, that's the place I disagree. I
advise, once you're in basic terms saying that we are a made from our

What benefits do the BA in studio art have over the MA in studio art?

answers1: You can teach art at colleges and so forth with a masters.
Can't with a bachelors.
answers2: I would hope that the training was more specific and intense
at the Master's level and that the Master's thesis show would be taken
more seriously than any Bachelor's student show. I would also expect,
in the USA, that an MFA and a BFA would be taken more seriously and be
offered at more serious schools in creative arts. An MA in art would
more likely require a written thesis as in Art History, Art
Curatorial, or Art Marketing.

Do you think art can be called art even if its 'commercial' art?

answers1: This begs the question: Why is it that you can be so
concerned about the symantic use of the word, "art," and it's
definition, and totally ignore that the term, "commercial art" already
has it's own definition. <br>
<br>
What you are demonstrating is a kind of elitist attitude toward,
so-called "commercial" art, as if it had less esthetic value that what
the industry refers to as "fine art," which, itself, is elitist. <br>
<br>
And you can't really deny your stance, demonstrated by the very use of
phrases like, "as much art, and "more art-sy. <br>
<br>
But to take that point even farther, I have to point out that many of
those classic "artistic" images, such as portraits, sculptures, even
land and city scapes were "commissioned" pieces, made to order by
patrons who paid the artists to create art on demand. This sounds no
different than the illustrations I create for packaging, newspaper ads
or store signs. <br>
<br>
To accept your argument, I would have to work as a kind of "split
personality," with the work done for a client being one kind of
"commercial" art and the work I do for myself, and THEN sell to a
client as more "art-sy." Is the quality of one kind any better than
the quality of the other?

Is art music or just painting?

answers1: who knows. <br>
<br>
maybe the music <br>
<br>
which is your hobby?
answers2: Maybe music or painting or dancing ....You can try to find
which one you are good at to
answers3: Music is a form of fine art. For example, piano, guitar,
violin, and my personal favorite, the flute, are all musical
instruments (duh) and are considered to be in the fine arts program.
I've been playing the flute for 5 years and I'm considered to be a
musical artist. But anyone who plays an instrument even semi-well is
considered a musical artist. <br>
<br>
Art also includes other types of visual arts, not just painting. It
can be doodling, sculpting, or anything else you can think of. <br>
<br>
Drama, dance, and singing are also forms of art. Art isn't contained
in drawing, it includes all forms of visual and musical abilities.

ways visual art enters our everyday life?

answers1: do you own homework. Look around you. Everything you see
and touch had to be designed by someone. Do you own them because you
like how they look? Did you know Apple Computers have several Black
Pencil Design Awards, the holy grails of design? A computer company!

Seriously, look around. it's everywhere.

What can I do with a minor in visual art?

answers1: First of all, you're a freshman WHO (that is for things,
who is for people) <br>
Seems to me like you could get into medical illustration if you follow
through with both subjects.
answers2: Firstly let me say I did my degree and Post graduate MA in
fine art and my pHd rgesis focussed around spatial concerns relative
to fine art and visual impact of "open space" curatorial setting. <br>
<br>
Only doing a minor in fine art may not provide you with everything you
hope to draw from the subject particularly as you wish to combine it
with such a diverse major topic. Ask yourself how could Fine art
interact and merge with Pre medical Clinical Laboratory Science
studies, there may be a way (publishing or illustrating medical
proceedure) and you are obviously drawn to these two vastly diverse
areas but I would certainly go back to question your intent a little
more thoroughly before make such commitment following a subject area
like fine art. <br>
<br>
Incidentally Illustration is not classed as a Fine art subject area
although Printmaking, Painting, Sculpture and Video are, Illustration
is an applied art subject area, just thought I'd say because it makes
a difference regarding which area of tuition you will recieve. <br>
<br>
I suspect it may be a case of making some hard choices and droping one
of these study areas.

answers3: Im 14...and I still act like a child in 11 years old....a
life is bored if we don't have fun things to do
answers4: some times
answers5: i'm 40-one, and 'heck no' - i do no longer act my age!
what's age? Shoot... have relaxing with existence, I say! i'm advised
I 'act like a new child' - which will on occasion be an insult, yet,
different situations, its from a extremely good pal, who says "i
admire the way you act like a new child so regularly, being loopy and
stuff." So, I take excitement in it. super question tho - because of
the fact, quite - what's age? I advise, how is a 40 year previous
'meant' to act? I haven't any thought. i think of its all
approximately human beings's personalities, too. i comprehend human
beings over age 70 and that they 'act like they're 40' - relaxing,
stupid, large human beings. Then, i comprehend people who're age 70,
and that they act like 'they're so previous', so, i think of it comes
all the way down to character and how you locate existence. :)
answers6: No. I'm 36 and I act 4. LOL
answers7: I'm 18 but I act like 8... Lol
answers8: You sound like someone I know lol <br>
Yeah pretty much. Maybe a little younger at times but above 18 most days.

time. I even get along better with people older than me.
answers10: Not at all. I act nine if I want, I can act my age (14),
and I can act even older/more mature is needed.
answers11: I'm 13, almost 14, but I have the maturity of an adult.
Sometimes my maturity is more than my parents. So, sometimes, but I'm
not scolding or rude, just wise.

What ACT does the percentage convert to?

answers1: The Percentage that they give you isn't the percent that you
got correct, it is your Percentile (the percentage of other test
writers who scored at or below your score). An 86.325 means that you
scored higher than 86.325% of other students who took the ACT exam
<br>
<br>
An 85% or 85th Percentile is equal to a 26 ACT cumulative score <br>
An 88% or 88th Percentile is equal to a 27 ACT cumulative score <br>
<br>
As 86.325 is closer to 85, then you have a 26 on your ACT exam

Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act-explain?

answers1: The Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act establishes the
limitations as to whether a foreign sovereign nation (or its political
subdivisions, agencies, or instrumentalities) may be sued in U.S.
courts—federal or state. It also establishes specific procedures for
service of process and attachment of property for proceedings against
a Foreign State. <br>
<br>
If another nation brings an act of war on to our shores, we don't go
to the international courts to sue them, we just wipe them out.

What were the differences between the Declaratory Act and Townshed Act?

answers1: The difference between the SAT and the ACT is that the ACT
has a science section, whereas the SAT does not. The ACT is divided
into five sections, including the essay. The sections are English (75
questions), Math (about 65 questions), Critical Reading (45
questions), and Science (ab out 45 questions). The SAT is divided into
11 jumbled, but much shorter sections. Also on the ACT the essay is
the last section, but on the SAT it is the first. The writing portion,
the essay, is optional on the ACT, but I would suggest taking the ACT
plus writing, as you would be more eligible for most schools. The ACT,
I felt, was more difficult than the SAT, but I took a prep class for
the SAT to make sure I was prepared. As far as preference for the top
25 colleges, I am not sure which accept which test. I know that in
California, the UC's take either, without preference. The same is true
with the state schools. I am not sure about Privates or Ivy leagues,
though. Sorry. Hope this helps!
answers2: The Townshend Acts were a series of acts passed beginning in
1767 by the Parliament of Great Britain relating to the British
colonies in North America. The acts are named after Charles Townshend,
the Chancellor of the Exchequer, who proposed the program. Historians
vary slightly in which acts they include under the heading "Townshend
Acts", but five laws are frequently mentioned: the Revenue Act of
1767, the Indemnity Act, the Commissioners of Customs Act, the Vice
Admiralty Court Act, and the New York Restraining Act.The purpose of
the Townshend Acts was to raise revenue in the colonies to pay the
salaries of governors and judges so that they would be independent of
colonial rule, to create a more effective means of enforcing
compliance with trade regulations and to punish the province of New
York for failing to comply with the 1765 Quartering Act, and to
establish the precedent that the British Parliament had the right to
tax the colonies.The Townshend Acts were met with resistance in the
colonies, prompting the occupation of Boston by British troops in
1768, which eventually resulted in the Boston Massacre of 1770. <br>
<br>
The American Colonies Act 1766 commonly known as the Declaratory Act,
was an Act of the Parliament of Great Britain, which accompanied the
repeal of the Stamp Act 1765. Parliament repealed the Stamp Act
because boycotts were hurting British trade and used the declaration
to justify the repeal and save face. The declaration stated that
Parliament's authority was the same in America as in Britain and
asserted Parliament's authority to pass laws that were binding on the
American colonies. <br>

Is rap poetry or music?

answers1: Depends on who you ask and which rap song your talking
about. I'd say artists like Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane are precisely 0%
poetry, while Immortal Technique usually has the "worst" beats. Rap is
considered music because, while some rap music is hard to perform,
most of it, until now, has been made up of music. <br>
<br>
logically, where m=music and r = rhythm <br>
(m-r)+r=m <br>
<br>
ALSO: some producers and DJs actually know and apply music theory. <br>
<br>
A simple example: <br>
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pu-Xt4AMAY"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pu-Xt4AM...</a>

A more complex example: <br>

rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpUq9xJLJ...</a>
answers2: It's both but it really depends on the song you are
referring to.. Some are poetry while are just dance music. <br>

answers3
: for a rapper rap is a rap <br>
for a poet rap is a poem <br>
for a musician rap is a music <br>
and for confused like u its 1/3 rap 1/3 poem and 1/3 music
answers4: Depending on the song ... it can be both. Not all rap is
poetic ... as we've all heard for ourselves. <br>
<br>
However some rappers/rap songs are very poetic. You know theyre well
written when you can just read the lyrics and enjoy it .. without even
having to hear the song.
answers5: its both.. the words are poetry if you have a half decent
rapper. But its music so it has to be music as well
answers6: i think it depends who it's coming from <br>
<br>
if Soulja Boy or Hurricane Chris comes out with a single, it's just a
poor excuse for music [which sucks!.. What the **** is Ay Bay Bay or
that Kiss Me thru The Phone ****?] <br>
<br>
Poetry is like rappers who get their lyrics from stuff that happens in
their life [The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy]
answers7: There is no right or wrong answer to this question...it is
how the person interprets it. I feel that it is both music and poetry.
answers8: Rap is both.....to be a rapper you have to write
consistently and practice your rhymes
answers9: it is poetry put to a beat so its both and it crosses genres
answers10: Every form of music, including rap, is poetry set to a
beat. So it's both music and poetry.

Would anyone object to philosophy being taught in schools?

answers1: In Australia, Philosophy is already a subject that you can
choose in your senior years, but we call it Studies of Religion. I
don't do it, but one of my Christian friends does it, and she says
that the subject is very informative and she's learnt a lot about
other religions. So, i think it's a good subject to teach/learn about.
answers2: Philosophy is sometimes worked into RE (Religious Education)
here in the UK. But a seperate class called that instead of RE would
be much better. I don't want to have beliefs forced on to me by
teachers, as was done in the past. But teaching kids to make up their
own minds is better.
answers3: Such an idea should be enforced, but it will never come about. <br>
<br>
Schools are government run, and it's own little branch of government
with it's roots in Communism, that is why each individual is taught
to: <br>
<br>
*line up to get a drink, to enter or exit a door way. <br>
*To instill in a young ones mind to be lead, not to take the lead. <br>
*To be told to follow, not to want to do so themselves. *Groomed in
being a cog in the big wheel, yet you do none of the turning yourself,
only a tiny slight contribution you make. <br>
<br>
So philosophy would eliminate all those years of training that they
filled in the memories of children.
answers4: scientific scholars are taught that a fetus is a fetus. no
person disputes that it incredibly is alive. The abortion debate is a
query of while HUMAN existence starts off. Is it at theory, or
quickening, or viability exterior the womb, or at start? till we are
in a position to get consensus in this trouble-free question, the
controversy will rage on. If a fetus is a man or woman, then why isn't
it given a social safety form, a acceptance, etc. earlier it
incredibly is born? in case you opt to assure it all of the rights as
"born" human beings, then you definately've an prolonged highway
merely before you...
answers5: The problem with teaching philosophy in a public school is
simple: it often deals with metaphysical subjects, such as life after
death, etc. Once the focus is off of the physical plane, the topic
becomes religious, or faith-based, and that simply isn't allowed.
<br>
<br>
It's almost like a "10 commandments of the classroom" re-write, with
the biggest commandment being "THOU SHALT NOT MENTION GOD OR THE
AFTERLIFE IN CLASS."
answers6: I think philosophy would be a great subject in grade school.
When the minds are clear, open, unclouded if you may. <br>
<br>
Let the child make up their own minds on the world; do not force them
to believe what you want them too. You wouldn't do that to an adult,
why a child? What's the difference?
answers7: Philosophy is good to study as long as it is not meant to
indoctrinate. <br>
<br>
The thing is that studies are always extended, to influence the
mainstream for example the "sales philosophy" etc. this branch would
indoctrinate you into accepting that our economic system is a system
of balance, but in reality we all know that there will never be a
balance between offers and demands, and credit and money flow to
overcome poverty, hunger and famine. <br>
<br>
So Esoteric Philosophy I find good but not other pseudo branches.
answers8: I think philosophy would be great in schools. Teaching
religion would be good too. Just as one would teach the different
philosophies, one would need to teach about the different religions.
The problem with church and state comes in when one religion is
promoted over the other, or used as a behavioral code. I don't see a
problem with teaching religion or philosophy as a subject.
answers9: No, Philosophy is the basic learning of every religion.
answers10: I was about to ask what kind of philosophy, i think that
its being taught in school as such ,teachers action,attitude her
philosophy will follow them the rest of there lives ,how she was ,who
she was and what she taught.

Does Philosophy play a role in Goth culture?

answers1: No there is no system of philosophy specific to Goth living.
answers2: Philosophy isn't just "what's the meaning of life" type
things. There are also hard logical problems and such. <br>
<br>
I would say philosophy is basically in everything.
answers3: I can see how some parts of goth culture could seem
philosophical because many of the issues in this culture revolve
around pain and meaninglessness and a reaction against the mainstream.
In this way it can be philosophical, however anything take to the
extreme can begin to lose legitimacy.
answers4: no

are there actually any jobs based solely on philosophy?

answers1: They only way you can tie Philosophy with a job is by you
coming up with an amazing theory/philosophy of life area and write a
book and sell it. Other than that your just gonna be like the rest of
philosophy majors and try to teach it. Philosophy is a great subject
because it makes you get into analytical thinking and reflective
instrospective type of thinking. But there is no carreer in there.
Like I said only by writing a book. Plus its real hard to sound
credible if you have a major in philosophy and your in your 20's. Just
like nobody's gonna hire a psychologist/shrink to hear their problems
if the psychologist is young looking and has facebook pictures of them
in beerpong tournament. I have no idea why people keep on "majoring"
in these fields. Stick to math and science fields like engineering
period.Thats only if you want to make money.
answers2: Yes, Taco Bell.
answers3: Not to sure, but you could try searching for philosophy careers? <br>
I did philosophy when i did my diploma of music. it really is adapted
to everything.
answers4: Only in America they have the best accents mate...

western and eastern philosophy?

answers1: EASTERN: <br>
Believe nothing ! Belief is a confession of ignorance ! <br>
Therefore do not even believe what even I tell you ! <br>
All I can do is to teach you to enlighten yourselves. <br>
Your first duty is to abolish your ignorance, <br>
and only you yourselves can do this. <br>
—Buddha <br>
<br>
WESTERN: <br>
If you would be a real seeker after truth, <br>
it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, <br>
as far as possible, all things. —Descartes <br>
<br>
At its root, western philosophy is based on eastern philosophy, but
western philosophy could learn a bit more patience. Eastern philosophy
is at peace with itself. Western philosophy is not.
answers2: I see where you are at. Though I cannot but see we are all
connected. It is like we were arguing about a ''God'' under different
names when there is just ONE all over, superior to any ... :)) <br>
Whatever philosophy we'll name, whatever way we shall get, there is
the same point we start our life and end it. <br>
A ''way'', a ''philosophy'', a ''religion'' ... what a small thing - a
life. <br>
<br>
LOVE is all we can name as a commune - some way grounded - nominator,
or God-felt inside and/or above us, as you wish. <br>
<br>
There is NO OTHER NEED but the ACCEPTANCE, the understanding one of
each other, the understanding of our own self, whatsoever philosophy
..., Religion, colour ... Each of us has a particular-commune path
:))) <br>
<br>
Simply, I.
answers3: Eastern philosophy: "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" <br>
<br>
Western philosophy: "Whoosh" <br>
<br>
I have been studying Eastern philosophy for a few decades, and it
appears to present the idea that "either/or" does not exist. That is,
either I step into traffic and get killed, or I don't, is not part of
the Eastern mystic. <br>
<br>
The people who present these ideas, or koans, are not stupid. I think
the essential focus of Eastern philosophy is not that reality is
malleable, but our understanding of it is. Western philosophy focuses
on certainty, derived from proofs and processes, while Eastern
philosophy focuses on the conviction of uncertainty. <br>
<br>
Thus, the Eastern philosopher is smug in the wisdom of knowing
limitations, while the Western philosopher is smug in the wisdom of
ignoring limitations.
answers4: Eastern Philosophy incorporates certain spiritual elements,
including patience, acceptance and peace. I feel this gives them a
more pure view of reality. Many eastern philosophers accepted that
they will never "know" everything, but if we accept all, we will not
be at ease. In other words, I find their teachings to be more helpful
and insightful. <br>
<br>
Western Philosophy is more just thought, reasoning and questioning.
All of these are great, but most of it feels so limited and
constricted in that they lack many things. Granted they may take a
more practical approach in certain aspects, but overall its usually
more of an uneasy, impatient questioning, which usually results in
ending where you started.
answers5: this is a rhetorical question <br>
thus <br>
propaganda <br>
to understand the root cause of this line of reasoning <br>
you should locate the unstated premise and conclusion <br>
why would western philosophy have something to gain from duality?
answers6: understanding.
answers7: Um, is TM eastern or western? <br>
<br>
This debate is so 1972. <br>

The west has been exposed to and absorbing eastern ideas for 200
years. When does it start going the other way?
