answers1: Beauty is what we perceive, along with what we perceive to
be ugly.

Just like foods, some like sweet, sour, hot, mild.

One thing beautiful to me is being on the snowcapped, bitterly cold
mountain tops with the wind trying to blow me away. Watching the sun
go down through the clouds before vanishing and plunging it into icy
darkness. To others, that's a nightmare, to me, that's seeing the
beauty of nature, cruel or kind.
answers2: beauty is self-worth. It's what attracts us to other beings
and is immortal in ourselves. When you die, people will always
remember you as beautiful because you were a good person.
You can also consider superficial beauty, but superficial beauty can't
last as long as inner beauty. To cling too much to it is kind of
pathetic really.
answers3: Beauty is one of the opulence's of The Supreme. He is the
source of all qualities. We are part and parcel of Him we also have
according to our karma different degrees of beauty, fame, wealth,
strength, wisdom, renunciation.
The real beauty comes with the understanding that we are not this
temporary bodies who have temporary beauty, but we are the Spirit Soul
inside the body who is full of eternal bliss and beauty. In this world
beauty is just a reflection of the original beauty of the Spiritual
Universe. Just like the reflection of a beautiful tree in the water of
the lake, is beautiful too but is not real.
answers4: Unfortunately, beauty is what the most popular actress looks
like or the latest magazine tells us it is. To me beauty is many
things, physical beauty is one of them, but how a person acts, speaks,
and the things that person does either makes that person beautiful or
ugly. I have seen some very pretty girls or handsome men that once
they open their mouths and a spew of obscenties comes out, causes them
to become very unattractive. Then again, I have seen some people who
society has deemed to be unattractive become some of the most
beautiful people around by doing wonderful things for others, always
having a kind word, and always be willing to assist other and doing
selfless things.
answers5: Beauty is empathy and self worth.

I believe it always exists in a person, but sometimes it gets hidden
by life's hardships.
answers6: Beauty is the word we give to things that bring us pleasure.
I have a friend whom I consider beautiful. Simply looking at her
evokes a pleasurable feeling. Beauty is the positive in everyone. If
some one has a beautiful personality they are generally well liked and
kind.

Outer beauty is subject to interpretation and is influenced by pop
culture. Total beauty on earth is unachievable because of human
nature. What you consider beautiful, I may consider average. And
vice versa.
answers7: To begin, I'm just going to state that I'm talking about
one's physical appearance, but what I'm saying applies as well to
inner beauty. Everyone has different tastes. I'll be talking to
friends of mine and I will think someone is really attractive and they
will completely disagree. To someone, you could be the most gorgeous
person in the world, but to someone else, you could be hideous. Same
thing applies with "gaining and losing" beauty. When you change your
appearance, one person will think it's for the better and another will
see it as a change for the worse.
answers8: Inner beauty can't be lost.

Physical beauty is a curse.

It's like a beautiful rug we get to stand on for a while then it gets
jerked out from under us.

Love and blessings Don
answers9: Beauty truly is "in the eyes of the beholder". Otherwise, a
good buddy and his wife would both be single today.

And I consider them both "beautiful people" because of who they are,
not what they look like.

(By the way, I hope they feel the same about me.)
answers10: BEAUTY: is a quality present in a thing or person that
gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether
arising from sensory manifestations (such as shape, color, sound,
etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (such as
personality). Beauty is also a quality of a person, object, place, or
idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure, affirmation,
meaning, or goodness.
answers11: Beauty is whatever you want it to be. It's a judgement that
each of us makes. You decide that one thing is better than another
(for whatever reason) The better thing has beauty. The other thing is
ugly. If you never said anything was ugly, you couldn't have beauty.
You'd just have a thing sitting there and you be like "well there it
is." That would be that. The judgement has to be based on a
comparison. Really beauty is just you're prejudice.
