answers1: best reason for NOT finding the correct answer. Still no
help. I gave all the information I had. and where I have looked.
answers2: If your previous questions were deleted, people here likely
became exasperated with reposting the info. If the info doesn't add
up, asking the same question over and over will not change what the
records show. Unless you have a bit more info to share, you will keep
getting the same responses.

We can't change what we find. Perhaps rephrasing the question to "can
someone help me make sense of the discrepancies" might get a better
response. Or, do what the rest of us do. We wait until we find other
evidence or go and look at what we have recorded and try to find the
initial error.
answers3: Indiana Marriages on Ancestry has a Minnie LAW married
Clarence STRICKNER, (not Stricker) on October 17, 1897 in
Jeffersonville, Clark County Indiana.

Clarence Stricker is a widower in 1930 Clark County IN census
Minnie Stricker wife of Clarence) is age 32 born IN in 1920 Clark
County IN census (1888) but that has to be wrong as she would only be
abt age 10 at marriage.
Minnie Stricker is age 25 married 12 years (1885) born IN in 1910
Clark County IN census.
Minnie Stricker has born June 1882 in IN age 17 married 2 years, is a
boarder in 1900 Clark County IN census.
Since she was born after 1880, married before 1900, didn't have
parents names included on the online marriage transcriptions (or
Certificate) as others did, you won't find a clue to the information
you want online. You will have to order a copy of death certificate
with only a chance parents names are included or known by informant. .
Look for Obituary of hers and maybe people named Law in Clark County
born 1870 to 1900 to see if any mention a sibling named Minnie.
Where are you getting the name Long from?
answers4: Really depends on the type of 'research' you are doing, it
is is all online with transcriptions then it won't add up, you need
Indiana parish records and they are likley to be located in local
archives/records office in Indiana and/or your local LDS centre where
you can order a copy of them to view

this gives you an overview of what records are available <a
href="https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Indiana_Church_Records"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/I...
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.genealogyinc.com/indiana/in-c...

Again if these are transcripts you then need to order a copy of the
PRs to ensure the transcripts are correct and you have the full
information
answers5: No one can provide information that doesn't exist. You
spent a lot of time complaining about your experience and yet failed
to provide some pretty important information
1. Where have you looked (what sites)
2. What was found (marriage record, Census record)
3. What time frame are your searching in. 1800-1899 or 1900-1940
I check Ancestry with the two pieces of information you provided (name
and state)
Sorry but I don't have the time or inclination to search through all
these for a person in Indianna.
You might try going to a public library most have Ancestry and some
other sites that patrons can use for free
OR
you might try Familysearch.org or go to a Family Search Center, both
are free and the addresses for the centers are on Familysearch.org.

It is has nothing to do with being serious about research, most real
researchers do not have time to waste when there is not sufficient
information provided to locate someone.
answers6: My but we're a bit prickly this morning, aren't we?
answers7: 1. The regulars here are NOT INTERESTED in points.. they are
interested in helping you.
2. Your email is not open. No one can reach you after the question is
closed.
3. Your account does not show your old questions. I worked this for
you months ago... and went back to review. Can't review since you
seem to have a new account. I DO clearly remember, you had issues
because there are a number of persons with the same name in that
locality, and you had something that was incorrect, leading you to
wrong info.
