Marcellus Exler: I suspect, like every other country on earth, that your motorcycle helmet has to conform to a standard set by your government, probably the ECE 22.05 standard.Your football helmet will not meet those standards for use on a motorcycle.
Jesusita Dykhoff: Legal or not you are going to crack your melon! :DI don't think your football Helmet is Snell or DOT approved for use on a motorcycle therefore you can still be cited for not wearing an appropriate Helmet. Not all helmets are created equal... A motorcycle helmet is designed to protect your brain. Also a good Helmet should be under 5 years old... Because the foam that does the brain saving magic, deteriorates and becomes less and less effective.Take care of your melon.... it's the only one you got...
