Summer internships related to Recreation, Sport & Tourism and Communication?

Wilmer Skidmore: Okay, so, you want an "internship" that sends you to some exotic locale, covers your expenses, and pays you on top of that? Congratulations, so does everyone else :-) Seriously though, these type of things are few and far between. There's opportunities to volunteer, opportunities to intern, opportunities for paid internships, and opportunities to travel, but very rarely do any of these things intersect. Many charity organizations will take you on and assign you to wherever there is a need, and they may even cover your room and board and a small stipend, but the caveat is that you have to pay to get there, and go where they tell you. You can work teaching English in Asia, even if you don't know the local language, and you'll get paid to do so, but again, you have to get there yourself and take care of yourself once you're there. Try to check with your school, perhaps they have some resources that aren't commonly known and can point you in the right ! direction.Good luck....Show more

Dick Maisenbacher: i think of that's the two. I even have spent many a summer season day on the water sweating my tail off attempting to land vast cats (25+ pounders). For some it extremely is a robust skill of rest, to get faraway from the strain of the daily grind. Fishing is in all threat greater sport in that ingredient, yet for opposition (professional or in basic terms weekend warriors) fishing is definately greater game! My fishing friends and that i carry our very own tournaments!, so that's actual game and sport in my strategies....Show more
