Dulcie Edis: Being a vegan means using NO animal products whatsoever. A vegetarian doesn't eat meat (though some vegetarians might eat poultry and/or fish) and usually consume dairy as well (eggs, milk, cheese, cream, etc.) Vegans do not consume meat, poultry, fish, dairy or honey. If you are vegan for compassionate reasons, vegans stay away from wearing animals as well (no leather, no wool, no cashmere, no fur, no silk, etc.) and only buys products that are certified cruelty free and vegan (meaning no animal experiments were done to make the product and no animal by products were used either). Compassionate vegans do not attend circuses or zoo's or any place where animals are used cruelly and inhumanely in any way. Being a vegetarian or vegan is a spiritual and compassionate journey! , and you have to be really dedicated to the cause if you want to make it work and live healthy and happy....Show more
